Ghost Themes Overview

Note: Theme documentation is here: http://themes.ghost.org

Ghost themes allow you to customise your blog to look however you want.

They are written in HTML and use the Handlebars templating language to inject the data from your Ghost blog - e.g. {{title}} would output a post title.

Ghost themes currently operate like 'skins' allowing you to customise the look and feel of the data provided by Ghost, but there is not much control over what data Ghost provides. This will change as Ghost evolves.

If you are looking for information on how to edit an existing Ghost theme, there is a theme editing guide.

For full details of the various aspects of a Ghost theme, please visit the Theme documentation. This documentation includes a getting started guide and full reference material for the data, helpers, templates, and contexts which are available inside a theme.
